is over and the new year is just around the corner. Looking
back on the year 2024, we will actually be done very quickly.
Apart from the loss of our dear Dama Bianca di Ala D'Oro,
everything else was focused on the move to Denmark. We have
worked hard in recent months and the end of the renovation
is in sight. We are looking forward to the new year.

farewell to our dear hard worker Champion "Duffy" Dama Bianca
di Ala D'Oro ~ January 15, 2013 | December 12, 2024 Saddened
by this loss but extremely grateful for all the unconditional
love she has given us all those years. We have so many beautiful
and sweet memories of her. She is terribly missed

hard to make our living environment Bracco proof. We have
a lot of game around the house. We regularly see deer, foxes
and pheasants, which is of course beautiful, but sometimes
a concern with hunting dogs. We don't want them to hunt independently.
That's why we're busy installing fencing. Of course, some
personal interest and convenience play a role. There's nothing
better than not having to pay attention all the time. In the
meantime, we have had ample contact with the Danish authorities
regarding dogs. The dogs are now registered in the Danish
database, they have their own damage insurance (mandatory
here in DK) and our kennel DI-ALA-D'ORO is now also officially
registered with the Danish Kennel Club. Nothing stands in
the way of planning a Bracco Italiano litter in Denmark. We
have our Viviana da Calabrone di-Ala-D'Oro who meets breeding
requirements and in a few months Barbara da Beatrice di-Ala-D'Oro
will also be ready.We also have several beautiful males in

have Internet! Today we can finally let you know that we have
officially emigrated to Denmark. We were able to buy our dream
house in the municipality of Holstebro. With plenty of peace
and space around the house, we think we can enjoy our retirement
to the fullest. We looked for a dream house in various countries,
including in our beloved Italy, but after seeing the dream
house in Denmark we could no longer get it out of our minds.
In addition, living in Denmark is very affordable, the weather
conditions here are comparable to the Dutch weather, hunting
is not yet condemned and therefore more than sufficient opportunity
to work with our dogs. And we can also enjoy a lovely walk
with the dogs in the forest, which is very close by, and on
the beach of the fjord, which is only 1400 meters from our
house. And... fun / work contest trips to Italy still remain
possible. We hope to welcome many of our canine friends here.Are

1-2-2024 The month of January
has flown by. We have not done much so we have little to report
on the dog front, except that last week we received Barbara
da Beatrice di-Ala-D'Oro - Bice's invitation to the prestigious
Dog of the Year Show from the Dutch Kennel Club (RvB). We
are quite proud that our kennel is qualified to participate
again this year. As you could have already red, our house
is for sale, after having lived there with great pleasure
for 30 years. We would like to go abroad to enjoy our next
phase of life. It's all super exciting. As soon as we have
finalized everything, we will of course inform all owners
of an Ala D'Oro about where we will live and when we are ready
to leave Holland. We then naturally expect dog friends to
come and visit us abroad! Our kennel will of course continue
to exist. We have plans for a litter with Viviana da Calabrone
di-Ala-D'Oro in spring or summer 2024. Are you curious about
